Literature Lunch / Philip Davison
The Irish author Philip Davison presented his crime novels at the EESC for our final InBETWEEN Literature Lunch this year. More than 100 guests listened to the exciting reading from "McKenzie's Friend" and "Acid Mantle" , which is still in progress. The interesting discussion with the author demonstrated his interest in the psychological conditions and social context a person has to endure to commit a crime. Seamus Boland, EESC member welcomed the guests and Eddie Arthurs, Culture, Sport and Tourism Attaché of the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the European Union, Brussels, introduced and spoke about the Irish author.
