Public hearing organised by the Single Market Observatory (SMO) of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)
in cooperation with the Economic and Social Council of Hungary

The Single Market Observatory (SMO) has organised a public hearing in Budapest in order to collect viewpoints of the Hungarian civil society organisations and engage in a dialogue on their priorities, their recommendations and indeed on the measures proposed by the European Commission's Single Market Act. The SMO presented its draft opinion on the occasion of a lively debate in which 150 stakeholders participated.
Staffan Nilsson, President of the European Economic and Social Committee, attended the event. Janós Tóth, vice-president of the Hungarian Economic and Social Council, and Tamás Halm, Secretary general, also took part in the hearing.
