"Self-regulation and co-regulation in the Community legislative framework"
Public hearing organised by the
Single Market Observatory (SMO) of the
European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)
on Tuesday 27 January 2015, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)
Van Maerlant building, room VM3, Rue Van Maerlant 2, 1040 Brussels
Following the Interinstitutional Agreement on Better Lawmaking (2003) the SMO has increasingly focused its activities on the quality of the regulatory environment of the European Union. The EESC is currently preparing an own-initiative opinion on Self-regulation and co-regulation in the Community legislative framework (rapporteur: Mr Jorge Pegado Liz). A public hearing was organised in order to discuss the topic and to give an opportunity to the stakeholders to express their views and expectations.
