Focusing the concerns and questions of civil society around the safety of nuclear power this conference will take place immediately following the presentation by the European Commission of the progress report on the ‘stress tests to the European Council on 9 December. Perception of risk, daily and crisis communication on nuclear safety and varying attitudes across the EU will be main topics of the debate.
