In the framework of the European Consumer Day 2011, the European Economic and Social Committee organised a conference on Consumption without borders in Budapest, at the Faculty of Commerce, Catering and Tourism, on Friday 18 March 2011. The event was organised in cooperation with the European Commission, the Hungarian Authority for Consumer Protection and the Hungarian Economic and Social Council.
The key theme of the event is of crucial importance for both European consumers and businesses as they try to fully benefit from Europe's Single Market.
